MRC welcomes a new Head of Operations

Lahra Tyndall, our current Head of Operations, will be leaving MRC at the end of this week.

Lahra has helped MRC through a lot of changes in her more than three years with us – a near doubling of our staff, new premises, and a new case management system to name but a few!

Lahra may well be doing some freelance work for us in the future, but will be focussing on her writing and on spending more time with her (increasingly grown up) children. She also has something of a soft spot for an animal in need, and is hoping she’s brave (or crazy?) enough to wild swim through the winter this year :0/

I’m very grateful to Lahra for all her hard work, straight talking and good humour.

Lahra will be replaced by Rhys Davies.

Rhys grew up in Manchester before studying Philosophy at Durham University.

Rhys has a background in internal audit and risk management, and has most recently spent three years living and working in the French Alps as a trainer and manager in the hospitality industry. He is client focussed and commercially aware, with a clear understanding of what good client service looks like.

In his spare time Rhys loves to cook, and likes to try at least two new dishes a week. He says he doesn’t really like baking, but we’re working on changing that :0)

Lahra and Rhys are currently working together to ensure a smooth transition for our team and our clients (cue a picture of swans gliding across the water whilst paddling furiously underneath!) I wish them both the very best.
